Requirements to download Driving Licence Soft Copy
The documents or data required to download the soft copy (PDF) of your Driving License online are,

In case you don’t have a Digi locker account, you need to first sign up using your Aadhaar number.
Steps to download Driving Licence PDF (Soft Copy) online
To download your Driving License Soft Copy or PDF document online,
Step 1: Go to the official website of Digilocker
- First, go to the official website of Digilocker at digilocker.gov.in or download the Digilocker app.
- Next, click on the ‘Sign In’ button.
- Next, select any one of the login options.
- Next, enter appropriate login details.
- Next, click on the ‘Sign In’ button to log in.
- The dashboard of Digilocker will open up.

Step 2: Select the Driving Licence option
- Now, click on the ‘Browse Documents’ option.
- Next, click on the ‘Driving Licence’ option.
- Next, select the transport department of your state.
- Once the new page opens, enter your driving licence (DL) number.
- Next, check the checkbox and click on the ‘Get Document’ button.

Step 3: Download Driving Licence (DL) PDF
- Your Driving Licence will be displayed on your screen.
- Next, click on the Download icon.
- Next, select the PDF option.
- Your Driving Licence PDF will be downloaded.
You can also take a printout of the PDF document if you want.
By following these steps, you can easily download your Driving Licence Soft Copy (PDF) online using the Digilocker portal or app.
You can also show your Driving Licence, if needed, through the mParivahan app. This app allows you to save a virtual copy of your DL in it.
In case you want to download your learner license, you can also do that online through the Parivahan Portal.
